Pioneer Ridge XC Invitational 9/26/2012

The Jaguar harriers competed against Wheatridge, Basehor-Linwood, Eudora, Clark, and Wellsville on Wednesday September, 26th.  Eight Jaguars came home with medals: Gracie Moorehouse (6th), Drake Taysom (1st), Rees Taylor (5th), Alex Valiente (7th), Cassidy Greer (3rd), Jewell Carter (5th), Garrett Pogue (3rd), and Joe Corbin (4th).

Ottawa XC Invitational 9/22/2012

Thirteen Jags captured medals on a sunny Saturday morning at the Ottawa XC Invitational. Drake Taysom won the 7th grade boys race and broke a school record by running one mile in 5:38. Pioneer Ridge went one, two, and three in the 8th grade boys race (Garrett Pogue 1st, Austin Faris 2nd, & Joe Corbin 3rd). Other medalists included: Rees Taylor (6th), Alex Valiente (7th), Matthew Becker (8th), Gracie Moorehouse (2nd), Jewell Carter (2nd), Katie Beaman (6th), Kayla Hartman (7th), Kale Scott (5th), and Trey Mauldin (7th). Both the 7th & 8th grade boys teams won at Ottawa.

Wheatridge XC Invitational

A fantastic day for XC at Celebration Park!  Pioneer Ridge collected seven medals.  Drake Taysom won the 7th grade boys race by a wide margin. Gracie Moorehouse captured 3rd place in the 7th grade girls contest.  Cassidy Greer (4th place), Jewell Carter (5th place), and Katie Beaman (10th place) all had solid performances in the 8th grade girls race.  Garrett Pogue (3rd place) and Joe Corbin (5th place) ran gutsy races in the 8th grade boys competition.
