2012 Eudora XC Invitational pictures...

Drake Taysom became the only Pioneer Ridge Cross Country runner to complete a season undefeated. Pictured here he won the mile in 5:36 at Eudora. He set a school record of 5:20.5 (at our home meet) for the mile in the process.

Grady Allen set a PR of 6:36 for the mile at Eudora.

7th grader Alex Valiente captured a 10th place medal.

Matthew Becker set a one mile PR with a time of 6:17.

8th grader Austin Faris captured a 7th place medal at Eudora. Austin also set a PR for the 2 mile by running 12:55.

Kale Scott was a key contributor to the 8th grade boys team winning at Eudora. The 8th grade boy harriers won this contest by a single point. Kale set a PR of 13:44 for 2 miles.

Trey Mauldin set a PR with a 2 mile time of 14:10.

8th grader Jewell Carter ran a 2 mile PR of 14:28.

8th grader Kayla Hartman ran a 2 mile PR of 16:35.

The Moorehouse sisters are super fast runners.

8th graders Garrett Pogue and Joe Corbin won 4th and 5th place medals. Garrett set a 2 mile PR at 12:27. Joe ran a PR 2 mile at 12:28.

8th grader Nolan Quiring set a 2 mile PR of 15:57 at Eudora.

2012 Pioneer Ridge Middle School Cross Country team. Season records: 7th grade girls team 1-23, 7th grade boys team 27-9, 8th grade girls team (no team), 8th grade boys team 20-11. Combined record of 48-43 for 2012.

Gary Gribble's Saucony XC Classic 9/29/2012

Pioneer Ridge XC Invitational 9/26/2012

The Jaguar harriers competed against Wheatridge, Basehor-Linwood, Eudora, Clark, and Wellsville on Wednesday September, 26th. Eight Jaguars came home with medals: Gracie Moorehouse (6th), Drake Taysom (1st), Rees Taylor (5th), Alex Valiente (7th), Cassidy Greer (3rd), Jewell Carter (5th), Garrett Pogue (3rd), and Joe Corbin (4th).

Ottawa XC Invitational 9/22/2012

Thirteen Jags captured medals on a sunny Saturday morning at the Ottawa XC Invitational. Drake Taysom won the 7th grade boys race and broke a school record by running one mile in 5:38. Pioneer Ridge went one, two, and three in the 8th grade boys race (Garrett Pogue 1st, Austin Faris 2nd, & Joe Corbin 3rd). Other medalists included: Rees Taylor (6th), Alex Valiente (7th), Matthew Becker (8th), Gracie Moorehouse (2nd), Jewell Carter (2nd), Katie Beaman (6th), Kayla Hartman (7th), Kale Scott (5th), and Trey Mauldin (7th). Both the 7th & 8th grade boys teams won at Ottawa.
