XC meet directions, bus loading, & departure times

PRXC Cross Country Meet Directions

1.       Basehor-Linwood (Date: 8-30-2012)

Bus load time:  2:15pm

Bus load location: PRMS

Competition time:  4:00pm

Directions (from PRMS): Head north on Kill Creek Road toward 159^th street.  Turn right onto 159^th Street.  Turn left on Gardner Road.  Continue on Gardner Road to 151^st Street turn left onto West Old 56 Hwy.  Turn left onto South Lone Elm Road.  Continue onto KS-7 N/S Parker Street (continue to follow KS-7 North).  Turn right onto Riverview Avenue.  Take first left onto North 126^th Street.  Take the first right onto Wy-Co Park Road.  Take the first right to stay on Wy-Co. Park Road.

2.       Wheatridge Invitational (Date: 9-8-2012)

Bus load time:  9:10am PRMS (walk over to Celebration Park)

Bus load location: PRMS

Competition time:  10:00am

Directions:  Meet at PRMS.  The competition will be held at Celebration Park adjacent to Pioneer Ridge Middle School.

3.       Wellsville Invitational (Date: 9-13-2012)

Competition time:  4:00pm

Directions:  Take I-35 or 56 Hwy to Hwy 33.  Turn west on 6^th Street.  Go several blocks until you get to Walnut Street.  You will see the high school on Walnut Street.  Parking for fans will be available in the parking lot south of the new elementary school after 3:30.  Parking also located in student parking north of the high school.  Do not park on 4^th Street.  The meet will be held between the high school and the middle school.

4.       Ottawa Invitational (Date: 9-22-2012)

Bus load time:  9:30am

Bus load location:  Madison Elementary School

Competition time:  11:00am

Directions:  Heading south on I-35 take the Eisenhower exit.  Turn left (or south) on Eisenhower.  Go south past Old 50 and take the dirt road straight ahead.  It’s about a half mile on your left.  It is a field that’s a cross country course. 

5.       GEHS/PRMS Invitational (Date: 9-26-2012)

Bus load time:  3:00pm

Bus load location: PRMS

Competition time:  4:00pm

Directions:  Take Gardner Road going north.  As you go behind the spillway by Gardner Lake, this road becomes 151^st Street and Gardner Road turns left (or north) after you are past the spillway.  Stay on Gardner Road going north to 143^rd Street.  Turn left on 143^rd Street.  Go west on 143^rd Street for about a quarter mile.  The course will be on the south side of 143^rd Street.

6.       Community America Invitational at Baldwin (Date: 9-29-2012)

Bus load time:  7:15am

Bus load location: PRMS

Competition time:  8:30am

Directions:  Come into Baldwin on 56 Hwy.  Take it through town until you get to the west edge.  Turn left (south) on 11^th Street by a bed & breakfast house.  This street will dead end at High Street.  Take a right (west) on High Street until you get to the railroad tracks.  Turn left (south) before you get to the tracks.  Then go south two blocks and you are at the entrance of the golf course.

7.       Eudora Invitational (Date: 10-4-2012)

Bus load time:  2:45pm

Bus load location: PRMS

Competition time:  4:00pm

Directions:  (The meet is held between the middle school and high school)  Take 175^th Street west out of Gardner 5 miles to Edgerton Road.  Turn right (north) on Edgerton Road to 143^rd Street (4.5 miles).  Turn left (west) on 143^rd to Douglas County where 143^rd becomes Douglas County 458.  Stay on 458 to County 1061.  Turn right (north) on 1061 approximately 5 miles to the Eudora middle school on the left side of the road.
