The Pioneer Ridge Cross Country team had a strong performance at the Ottawa Invitational on Saturday, September 24th, 2011. The Jaguars took home 13 medals and ran tough on an Ottawa course that had plenty of hills.
Thirteen Jaguars won medals…
8th grade boys 2 mile run:
8th place: Charlie Becker (14:26)
9th place: Corey Johnston (14:53)
10th place: Matt Richardson (15:02)
8th grade girls 2 mile run:
3rd place: Karen Thompson (15:11)
8th place: Hannah Hess (16:40)
10th place: Blair Pfeifer (17:02)
7th grade boys 1 mile run:
2nd place: Garrett Pogue (6:27)
4th place: Colton Bryan (7:00)
8th place: Trey Mauldin (7:49)
10th place: Kale Scott (8:03)
7th grade girls:
1st place: Cassidy Greer (6:51)
6th place: Jewell Carter (7:28)
9th place: Kayla Hartman (7:39)
Other Jaguars who competed were Jacob Hardeman (14th place in 17:21), and Connor Johnston (16th place in 22:54) in the 8th grade boys 2 mile race. Will Moore (12th place in 9:19) and Nolan Quiring (15th place in 10:36) ran tough in the 7th boys 1 mile contest. Congratulations PRMS harriers! The Pioneer Ridge Cross Country team looks forward to competing at the Jaguar Cross Country Invitational on Wednesday, September, 28th at 4:00 p.m.
