Wellsville Invitational results: September 15th, 2011

Overcast skies and cool temperatures were the background of the Wellsville XC Invitational last Thursday. The weather was perfect for Cross Country racing. The Pioneer Ridge harriers ran tough.  Highlighting the competition were four individual performances by Seth Greer, Karen Thompson, Cassidy Greer, and Garrett Pogue.  Seth was the highest placing Jaguar earning a 4th place medal in the 8th grade boys race. Karen Thompson won a 9th place medal in the 8th grade girls competition.  Cassidy Greer secured a 5th place medal in the 7th grade girls contest. Cassidy also set a new school record with a one mile run of 6:43.5!  Garrett Pogue earned a 10th place medal in the 7th grade boys one mile run.
